James was used to having poor sight. There was a fog around his vision in the mornings before he stuck his glasses on and the world came into focus. When he woke up at the start of the second week of the plague, he swore he would never grumble about his sight again because blindness was far worse.

"Moony," James' voice sounds panicked as he wakes the other boy. "Moony wake up. I know it's early but wake up."
It was the usual time that James slid silently out of bed and left Remus sleeping while he went for his morning run with Julian. "I can't see! I can't see anything."

((James and Julian, are very blind and really should never have been left to their own devices))

"Julian, hey," James settles down on to the couch that Remus had gently pushed him on to and talks to the lampshade at by the couch. "I'm so sorry I didn't make it for the morning run. I can't see anything apart from blackness! It's really weird man."

((Backdated to first week of plague so Trey does not get to use James' blindness against him))

The night of drinking games had changed everything. There were certain things even arch nemesis couldn't get passed without a drink, or twenty to drown the memories away.

'The sooner they got this drinking session out of the way the better,' James thinks as he bangs on the door to Trey and Eric's house. In his other hand he holds a bottle of vodka to get them started while they choose their place to drink.
