[James Apparates into Sirius appartment, he's white as sheet. It feels like he's jsut stared death down. Hoarsley] Padfoot? Fuck I've no time to worry about whether you know me or not. It's Moony. Something's very wrong

[Sirius blinks at him a few times, wondering why his wards hadn't kept this strange boy out, but Moony's name tore through whatever haze was hovering in his mind, and he was on his feet in an instant, wand in hand and cloak flying across the room into his waiting hand.] What happened? Where is he?

Voldemort...he's here in the Nexus. He did something to Remus

[That makes Sirius halt for a split-second before his cloak is fastened and he looks determined to find Remus] Let's go.

[James holds out his hand to Apparate them, his hand is shaking slightly but his face is determined]

[Sirius takes his hand without hesitation and clears his mind so James can apparate them without splinching]

[James Apparates them back to where he and Remus had encountered Voldemort, he drops Sirius' hand and starts off in the direction he had seen Remus leave]

[Sirius runs after him, wand drawn, and his eyes alert for any sign of his boyfriend.]

[Remus is hiding underneath a tree, staring blankly at a page in a nameless book as though it holds the secrets of the universe. He doesn't notice his friends]

[Unable to find Remus, Sirius desperately uses a locator spell, using the parameter 'werewolf,' as it is unable to search by a name. He's surprised when it seems to work and sends him back to a specific tree. He crouches down to have a look and sees his boyfriend, seemingly engrossed in a book.] Moony?

[Remus almost loses the grip on his book when Sirius speaks. He looks up, eyes wide and just a bit panicked. He wasn't sure how much it'd hurt when he next saw Sirius so he'd been hiding out from him, and he'd been right. H-hullo. I was just - [he looks down at his book as though trying to figure out what it's even about in the first place] Studying. I - should probably go and do that. [he stands, making sure there's a safe distance between them] Y'can have the tree, s'peaceful here.

Remus [Sirius reaches out for him, following him as he backs away] what are you talking about? Come here.

Don't touch me! [Remus looks sick as he sidesteps Sirius] I don't want you to touch me. You should stay away from me.

Remus [he tries to hide the hurt look when he reaches out again] What happened?

[shakily] Nothing! Nothing happened. I'm fine.

[James comes to a halt beside Remus, softly] you were fine before Voldemort showed up

[Sirius holds out an arm, his voice soft] Then show me, Moony. I need to know you're alright.

[Remus just steps further away, desperate to put enough distance between them as possible. He frowns and shakes his head as though trying to topple out a thought] Look! I'm fine. Never better.
